BEFORE AND AFTER

Toni decided she wanted to start landscaping. Well, she wanted her yard landscaped anyway. Not that she wanted to do the work. But, she did help, and the girls did too.I planed the layout, picked out most of the plants, dug ALL the holes and put down all the border rocks. She mudded in the plants and helped with the mulch. It turned out really beautiful. Not bad for my first landscape job!!!! Now if we could just get grass. The back yard has grass, but the front is still pretty bare. We have talked about putting down sod after we finish the walk ways. We'll see.

Wow,looks professional, but it seems that everything you do looks professional...pageant dresses, cakes, interior painting(the girl's rooms), etc. I'd really like to borrow you:)

I know what you mean about the grass, when it grows good in one spot and not another, the bare spot seems to be all you can see. We have one of those, we till or rake, seed, water and keep off it every summer, but just never seems to do much. The rest is so green, it just sticks out like a sore thumb.

I think I am called a "jack of all trades and a professional at none".

You can borrow me if we ever get to come see you. I will let you know plenty in advance so you can get a list ready.

I read in one of your comments somewhere that Keith might be layed off...is that still the case?

We are not sure. The mill has hired someone to do a 90 day study on some of the units profits. We won't know thill then. If they lay off it will be by senority. This is contract year also, so they could just be playing games. Scare you, then try to make you glad you still have a job. Time will tell. Keith has already been offered two other jobs so, we should be okay.

I'll echo what Jackie said...very professional!!! And, as it grows, all that greenery will look stunning against the brick...gives it a richer feeling. That house is almost bigger than our entire village! :)

Great job, Lynn. I'm impressed!

Thanks, I am very pleased with how it turned out. She has a slab in front of the garage. I did it this past week. There is still more to do down one side and in the back but, it is getting really hot so it might have to wait till fall. We did most of this in the evening 7:00-9:00 pm when it was cooler.
